Wow, this issue was fun and retarded all at once. First of all, apparently Abraham Lincoln is a super villain in the future.
And it's like the writers just stopped giving a shit about having things make sense. Like Superboy and Supergirl together in the future together. Apparently
in a future issue they put one of those "oh woops we totally messed that up" later-to-be-crisised-out patches on it, but I feel like they just forgot about the time stream again when writing this issue. Also Lightning Man. They are really bad at suspense if they've already debunked his death in previous issues.
Uuuugh I neeeeed more Mon-el in my life, the next issue should be amaaazing :D
I haven't listened to the podcast yet (I will when I get to work) so I don't know if you mentioned this, but there is a great essay by Richard Bensam on this storyline in "Teenagers from the Future" If you haven't picked tis book up yet you so need to it is in fact all kinds of awesome.

As I was saying to a friend of mine, I love the line: "They were powerless to resist my mighty mental commands!" It looks like it reads "mighty mental" as in "completely crazy". Which is quite fitting for the Legion.
